Acute Care Sales Representativeh
(3+ years hospital sales experience needed with device background) 50-60k base, 120-130k at plan, car allowance, non-recoverable draw, and great benefits!
My client helps hospital customers manage diagnostic cardiology data, whatever the environment. Their stress testing, resting ECG, Holter monitoring, resuscitation, and cardiac rehabilitation products perform life-saving work and create information vital to quality patient care. Connectivity means better workflow and better tools to help care for their patients.
I am seeking one hunter sales rep with medical capital equipment experience for 3 different territories. The Southern California territory rep must be based in southern California (LA, Anaheim, or San Diego preferred), and will cover the southern half of California plus Las Vegas. The Mountain territory rep should be based in either Colorado or Arizona and will cover CO, AZ, NM, and UT. The southern Texas rep should be based in Houston, San Antonio, or Austin and will cover the southern half of Texas. These reps will be selling non-invasive cardiology solutions to hospitals and IDN's in the region with a product line consisting of resting ECG, Holter monitoring, resuscitation, and cardiac rehabilitation.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prospect for new business opportunities in hospitals, IDNs and hospital owned clinics.
- Promote and sell cardiac and Acute Care related products.
- Generating and conducting effective technical sales presentations as well as enhancing sales efforts by continuously expanding product knowledge and developing knowledge of competitive products and features
Experience and Required Skills:
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- 2-5 years success in medical capital equipment sales (needs to understand the sales cycle)
- Hunter approach with demonstrable achievements
- Hospital/IDN call point experience
- Experience managing a large territory
- Solid understanding of the mechanics and nuances of working with distributors
- Must be able to travel and must live in the territory

They are always seeking great b2b reps who would like to make the move to medical device sales and have recently had openings in MI, VA, so CA, IL, MI, and MA. Their first year on target earnings are 120-140k (50k base, 600/month car allowance) and reps are averaging 150k/year with the top reps in the low-mid 200’s. They are particularly interested in candidates trained in payroll and document solutions industries as the AED industry is also a fast-paced, competitive, transactional sales environment.

You'll utilize a strategic selling method with current and potential customers, calling on all decision makers within an account to determine value as it relates to specific customer needs. You'll manage the sales call as it relates to pre-call planning, the call, and all follow up activities to create mutually beneficial outcomes for our customers.
Experience Needed:
- BS/BA degree preferred in disciplines related to sales, marketing, business, or entrepreneurism
- Ability to generate new business in the following vertical market segments within the territory to include, but is not limited to: Police, Fire, EMS, Corporations, Schools, Health Clubs, Municipal, Dental, etc.
- Great track record in a business-to-business, transactional, sales role (i.e. Canon, Xerox, ADP, Paychex, etc.)
- Previous experience using Salesforce.com or another CRM preferred
- Ability to effectively manage assigned territory, create own leads, and work with national distributors
- Driving record in good standing and currently residing in territory
