Senior Manager, Field Marketing Computed Tomography - Cleveland, OH

My client is one of the largest medical device vendors in the world specializing in imaging systems. They are seeking an innovative and risk-taking downstream marketer to join their Computed Tomography division in Cleveland, OH

This Senior Manager, Field Marketing manages downstream marketing activities for global computed tomography product portfolio to ensure sales, orders, profit and market share targets are met. Activities can include, but are not limited to; sales and marketing programs, pricing strategies, competitive analyses, product training, promotions and collaterals that are tailored to the needs of the sales channel.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Serves as the main conduit of information between the business unit marketing group and sales channel(s) teams. Communicates CT marketing strategies, positioning and product information to the channel(s) through training and sales support.
  • Monitors channel performance on a monthly basis to identify gaps to plan. Develops and executes corrective action plans after root cause analysis is performed.
  • Ensures execution and alignment of annual marketing plans between global business unit and sales and service organizations.
  • Provides end-user input to Product Managers to drive new product requirements.
  • Influences efforts of Clinical Science, Clinical Applications, Marketing Communications, and other members of the CT Marketing team to ensure financial targets and channel needs are met.

Education and Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.
  • Must have either five years of medical imaging sales or marketing experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to communicate with cross-functional and multiple location teams.
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Also strong presentation skills, time management skills, attention to detail, and resourcefulness.

Director of Marketing, Education and Services - Cleveland, Boston, or Seattle

My client is one of the largest medical device vendors in the world and are seeking a Director of Global Marketing for Education and Services who has successfully transformed education and support services into a revenue-generating business H

This will be a paradigm shift for the services and education function of the company, as well as the medical device industry, so a unique challenge awaits! I am seeking a change action agent from a high-tech products industry, likely an IT or computer HW/SW services organization, that would be able to transfer that experience into the medical device market. This is a global role where they will build a team to harmonize efforts throughout the world, creating and maintaining the Global Strategy, Portfolio, Messaging and Positioning within the Services division.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Build and maintain Global Strategy, Portfolio, Messaging and Positioning for Education business based on VPH.
  • Develop AOP and Reporting of Education on Global level, drive investments and acquisitions. .

  • Organizational development (structure, competences)

Education and Requirements:

  • Masters’ degree in Business, Marketing or Economics .
  • Experience and proven results in Strategy and Business development
  • 5-10 years working experience in a high technology /healthcare environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of Education Business or Professional Services business.
